Exmouth

The remote West Australian town of Exmouth is situated on the Eastern side of the Northwest Cape, along the inside of Exmouth Gulf. It’s a full day’s drive from Perth (1250km), or a quick 2 hour flight with¬†Qantas.

Exmouth is one of Australia’s best-kept-secrets. The small town thrives with tourists from all over the world from March through to October when hundreds of Whale Sharks aggregate along the Ningaloo Reef, providing one of the world’s premier Whale Shark diving destinations. The opportunity to get in the water and interact with the world’s largest fish brings thousands of visitors each year and in 2016 the town started offering in-water interaction with humpback whales.

The Ningaloo Coastline has been World Heritage Listed by the United Nations and this itself provides a massive draw card to fly fishermen and conservationists who are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy guided fishing in such a pristine wilderness.

Exmouth’s beaches are both beautiful and safe, with the crystal clear waters along the Ningaloo Reef providing some of the most amazing snorkelling and diving opportunities in the whole of Australia. There’s usually always something to do or see, even when the wind is blowing or you’re resting your tired arms.

Exmouth Fly Fishing has been established as a low-impact, professional guiding business to respect and work within the environment, preserving Exmouth’s natural resources and amazing fishery. A catch and release policy applies.
