Exmouth Fly Fishing was formed in 2010 by Jono Shales, who has opened the door to the vast array of species available and has spent thousands of hours exploring the area and mastering the most productive and favourable times to fish, plus the techniques required to target them. It’s literally a fly fishing smorgasbord.
Fly fishing options range from sight casting on the flats for queenfish, GTs and permit to chasing tuna, mackerel and sailfish in the Gulf, or teasing up black marlin out wide. Some days we’ll wade, some days we’ll use heavy sinking lines for mackerel and trevally. The more time you have to enjoy all of this, the better your chances are of targeting trophy fish and enjoying some world-class fishing while learning everything there is to know about saltwater fly fishing.
In 2015 the business expanded and established its own comfortable and classy guest house to accommodate travelling anglers.
